The House that David Built

We love our beautiful, warm house, and we hope you will, too.

David, like many small children dealing with medical issues, was afraid of large, institutional buildings. Because of this, David’s House was designed specifically to look as uninstitutional as possible; instead, it feels like a cozy house with short hallways, welcoming colors, and soft lighting.

We're located...

...on Mount Support Road on the campus of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.

It is a pleasant half-mile walk from the Medical Center, with sidewalks and adequate lighting. Our parking area accommodates one car per family.

Testimonials

"Thanks for a comforting, welcoming atmosphere. A sweet and generous haven from the stress and worry about a very sick child."

"We don't have a car, and because of David's House, we were seconds away from our little girl."

"When you walk in from spending an extraordinarily stressful day at the hospital, tired, weary, scared, and forlorn, you immediately feel a sense of comfort and peace. It's difficult to explain."

"Honestly, I don't know what we would do without your support."
