The Little Things
"Little things make big things happen."
- John Wooden
Looking for a way to get involved? You don't have to create your own event or even join us at one of ours (though we'd love to have you!)...
check out a few of the little ways that you can help:
1. Check out our grocery list and donate a few items that have been collecting dust on your shelves.
2. Spread the word about David's House (and about Keeping David's Promise) by sending an email to your friends, posting about us on your facebook or other social media, or by displaying some of our newsletters at your school or work! To request newsletters or for more about how you can spread the word, contact Julie.
3. Read on and discover more opportunities...
can tabs
Collecting can tabs is a fun and easy way to teach kids about recycling and the importance of charitable giving. David's House accepts donations of can tabs, but we encourage those interested to consider the following: though we wish otherwise, can tabs do not earn dialysis credits for patients. Please also be aware that it takes about 1,500 recycled can tabs to earn $1!

David's House encourages families and young fundraisers to instead set their sights on pennies. Not only do pennies add up to a 15x bigger impact, but they're easier to collect because almost everyone has them! Set up a penny drive at school or at work and watch the goodness pile up!
