Being away from home and family at a time when your child is ill or in trouble is not easy. But David's House made all the difference in the world. I have felt very blessed being at David's House for the last eight weeks, having all of you here to share in the joy of my beautiful granddaughters, to hear our stories, to see our pictures, then to be able to see them when they were released from the hospital. If you are scared, don't be because you are in great care, and it is a big, neat, and warm loving house!

David's House charges only $10 per family per night for families with children who are receiving treatment at Children's Hospital at Dartmouth. No one is turned away due to the inability to pay.

Room revenues cover less than 10% of our annual operating expenses. The rest comes from fund raising events, grants, and the generous support of people who care about these families.
