David's House Founder Honored by New England Patriots Foundation

Pro Football Hall of Famer John Hannah, who played 13 years with the New England Patriots, joined members of the Patriots Charitable Foundation for a special recognition reception at David’s House on July 29th in honor of Dick Cyr being awarded this year’s Foundation MVP. Cyr, founder of David’s House, was presented with his MVP trophy at a special luncheon at Foxboro Stadium in May, where 20 other finalists from across New England were honored for their volunteerism. As this year’s grand prize winner, Mr. Cyr was given the opportunity to highlight his charity through a visit from representatives of the Foundation, including Mr. Hannah, team mascot Pat Patriot, and team cheerleaders. The reception provided an opportunity for these special guests to meet families who have used the house and volunteers who have helped it remain open for the past 23 years.

David’s House would like to thank the following businesses for helping to make this event a memorable occasion: Bloods Seafood and Catering in White River Junction, VT; Robert’s Flowers in Hanover, NH; and Sweet Maidens Catering in Plymouth, NH.
